About the clinic
Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic has been providing specialty training since 1977. The duration of training and research period is 4 years.
During the training hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; articles, seminars, case presentations and clinical services related statistics are presented. 35 beds in gynecology service, 25 beds in the delivery room and postpartum service; 24/7 service with a total of 60 beds is given. 3 operating rooms and 1 intervention room are used in clinical services.
Gynecological oncological operations related to female genital cancers, gynecological operations for myoma uteri, ovarian cyst, ndometrioesis, ectopic pregnancy and abscess, urogynecological operations for uterine prolapse and for urinary incontinence are performed by open or laparoscopic method.
Intrauterine pathologies are treated with hysteroscopy. Cesarean delivery, normal and interventional delivery are performed; medical and surgical intervention is performed for postpartum hemorrhage.
Perinatological procedures such as amniocentesis, cordocentesis, chorionic villus biopsy and intrauterine transfusion are performed.
Gynecological oncology surgery clinic serves as a training clinic.
In eight polyclinic rooms, between 8.30 and 16.20 on weekdays, by appointment, as normal pregnant examination and follow-up, risky pregnancy examination and follow-up, double and triple screening tests, 18-22 weekly detailed pregnancy ultrasonography, gynecological examination, cervical smear test and colposcopy are performed.
In the emergency obstetrics and gynecology outpatient clinic, 24/7 service is provided.
